Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 15, 2026

Arclen (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website https://arclen.io (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name (from Google sign-in)
  • Profile picture (from Google sign-in)

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • URLs you submit for analysis
  • Analysis results and generated reports
  • Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent)

Payment Information

We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment processing: https://stripe.com/privacy

Social Platform Data

When you connect a social media account (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, or Threads) to Arclen, we collect and store the following data to enable content publishing on your behalf:

Facebook & Instagram (via Meta)

  • Your Facebook user ID and profile name
  • List of Facebook Pages you manage
  • Page Access Tokens (encrypted at rest) for publishing
  • Instagram Business Account ID linked to your Page
  • Post engagement metrics (impressions, likes, comments, shares)

We use this data solely to publish content you create and schedule within Arclen, and to display engagement metrics in your dashboard. We do not access your personal Facebook profile, private messages, or friend lists.

X (Twitter)

  • Your X user ID and username
  • OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest) for posting
  • Tweet engagement metrics (impressions, likes, retweets, bookmarks)

Data Deletion for Social Accounts

You can disconnect any social account at any time from your Arclen dashboard settings. When you disconnect:

  • All stored tokens are immediately deleted
  • Scheduled posts for that platform are reset to draft status
  • We revoke our access with the platform (where supported)

For Facebook and Instagram, Meta may also send us a deauthorization callback when you remove Arclen from your Facebook app settings. We handle these callbacks automatically and delete all associated data immediately. You can verify deletion status at any time through the confirmation link provided by Meta.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process your landing page analyses
  • Send you reports and notifications
  • Process payments
  • Improve our Service
  • Respond to support requests

Improving Our AI (Arclen Brain)

We operate an internal quality-improvement corpus called Arclen Brain. It helps our AI spot CRO issues more accurately over time by learning from aggregate, anonymized patterns across scans.

What we store

  • Scrubbed audit findings from your landing-page scans and ad diagnoses (numeric embeddings + the scrubbed text they were generated from)
  • Category, severity, and score metadata

What we do NOT store in Brain

  • Your email, name, company, or billing details
  • Raw URLs you submit
  • Screenshots or page images
  • Uploaded ad creatives or brand assets

PII scrubbing (before storage)

Every finding is passed through an automated scrubber that removes email addresses, phone numbers, and personal names and replaces them with generic placeholders. This happens before an embedding is computed or stored.

30-day follow-up email

We may email you roughly 30 days after a scan to ask how your changes performed. The outcome you share helps calibrate future recommendations. You can unsubscribe from this email at any time without affecting your account.

Retention

  • While your account is active and you have not opted out: indefinite retention of scrubbed findings and embeddings in the Brain corpus.
  • On opt-out: your prior contributions are purged from Brain within 30 days.
  • On account deletion: your contributions are purged from Brain within 30 days (cascading deletion).

Lawful basis (EU / UK users)

For users in the EEA and the UK, we process Brain data under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests (service improvement). A Legitimate Interest Assessment is maintained internally and available on request. You have the right to object at any time via Account Settings → Data Preferences. Objecting does not affect your access to Arclen.

Right to erasure

You can request erasure of your Brain contributions independently of account deletion — email privacy@arclen.io or toggle “Opt out of Arclen Brain” in Account Settings.

Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained until you delete your account
  • Analysis reports: Retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted
  • Screenshots: Deleted immediately after PDF generation

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Anthropic (Claude AI): For landing page analysis (only page content, not your personal data)
  • Vercel: For hosting and infrastructure

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your analysis reports
  • Opt out of marketing communications
